Rachel: Catching On

A very interesting conversation took place between my father and I today. He was talking to me about business and I could tell from his speech and mannerism that he was definitely more excited than he let on. It was during that time when he mentioned something that made my heart really warm. He told me that after he has succeeded in his business ventures, he will carry out his burning desire to share his knowledge with others to help them break out from their own struggles of making a living in Singapore.

That was the moment where there was a sudden conviction and pride in my own heart that that was the man my father has become today.

If my memory serves me well, it is one of the first times I've ever heard my father speak like that. It was absolutely thrilling to hear. Though I have no idea when this desire had entered into his heart, this noble awakening most definitely came from the Lord where my father's journey with Him has taken off into greater heights.

As a family, we must then catch on to this and provide support in any way possible. There is significance in the Lord's household when a family comes together. As to how powerful it can become? We can only keep praying and looking forward to the future.
